Filipe Pinheiro
Sound Operator
Born in Brazil, I came to London in 2004 with a great passion for Music and Cinema. I am, by trade; a musician, sound engineer, sound recordist and sound editor.
My passion for sound started on my early years with a two-track tape recorder, the family official for creating the sound track for the road trips. Later on my adolescence, the official sound engineer in the band I used to play, the best experimental laboratory I ever had. In 2001 I took it more seriously and went to study broadcast studio operations and soon I was working for a year in a radio station in Porto Alegre-Brazil, the city I came from.
Soon Brazil wasn’t enough and I came to London to study Music Production and later Location Sound at LFS.
Since 2012 I am working solidly and consistently as Location Sound Mixer and Recordist, as well as 1st assistant sound which I also and genuinely enjoy with a great passion.
I am pleased that in all these years my dedication, discipline and focus matured my experience giving me the opportunity to work on marvellous projects, small, medium and massive.
